Becoming a Mentor and Tutor

Skills needed

Mentors must actively listen and communicate.

 

Becoming one means to be able to relate, share perspectives, give advice and discuss lessons learnt throughout life to make a youth feel seen, understood.

Mentors must understand basic key stage 3 Maths and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and follow a curriculum given upon acceptance.

What it takes

1 hour/week or more

Mentors must have zoom or google meet installed as mentoring is done remote.

​​​​

Standard format-15 min check-in, 45 min tutoring

This can be altered based on the youths needs.
